There are three steps altogether, the first being the body positioning, the second is the holding of the billiard cue stick and finally will be hitting the billiard ball.In order to get a good body postion, it must be a comfortable and stable one. It means consistency. When you aim at the white ball, when you are swinging the cue to and fro and when you are hitting the white ball, your position must always be stable and comfortable.
To achieve this, take a step forward, lean your chest forward and parallel to the table or floor, place the billiard cue stick on your supporting hand and look straight over the billiard cue stick.

Swinging the billiard cue stick is easy, place the billiard cue stick on your lean hand, end of billiard cue stick must be 6” from your hand. Grip the billiard cue stick and hang it snugly by the waist level. Now swing freely with only your elbow moving. When striking the ball, estimate 4” away from white ball.
